Costa Rica

These are photos or our November 2019 trip to Costa Rica. I lived in Costa Rica in the early seventies and helped pioneer the sportfishing in the Golfo Dulce area based in Rincon on the Osa Penninsula. I have wanted to return to this country ever since. Finally made it. Decided to stay in Manuel Antonio, a small town near the city of Quepos, on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica about 170 kilometers from the capital of San Jose. This area is jungle, beauty, beaches, islands, animals and sport fishing. It was a wonderful stay. The people were very nice, the food was amazing, the views stunning and the roads were winding, narrow, and steep up and down with drivers that ALL had a death wish and would park just any ole where… even in the middle of the road. We took our lives in our hands every time on the roads I swear. I would never drive there myself.

Hopefully you will enjoy some of these photos. We were having so much fun we didn’t take as many as we could have!
